Mrs. Jessie Mae Hall Tucker, age 87, of Menlo, GA died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Tucker was born April 22, 1930 in Chattooga County, GA, the daughter of the late James Hall and Ella White Hall. She was a member of the Alpine Community Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Tucker; daughter, Carolyn Kaye Tucker; brothers, John Hall and Leon Hall; sisters, Vera Crye, Jo Thornberry, and Ruby Crowe.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Charles Davis and Vicki and Wayne Boyd; grandchildren, Benji Stanfield, Kristin (Brandon) Croy, Brandon (Autumn) Davis, Kevin (Heather) Boyd, and Gail Richardson; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Pledger and Rev. Rodney Blaylock officiating. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Lynn Hall, Jeff Martin, Eric Brown, Gene Gazaway, Jason Tucker, and Ralph Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of Alpine Community church, Pam Helms, and Susan Barnes.
Mrs. Tucker will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2017.
