When I returned to Georgia in 2013 and began attending Chesterfield Baptist church I was blessed to meet Mary Jo Guffey, along with others, but she stood out to me as being the sweetest, most loving and welcoming person a stranger could meet. She always greeted me with a hug and a smile and no matter how she personally felt she always seemed to have the best attitude and always gave God the glory for her ability to continue to worship at the church she obviously cherished and loved for so long. I will forever feel blessed to have known her for just the short three years I did and know that her entire family will feel her loss here while Heaven celebrates her presence.. May God richly bless you all.
