Please accept my deepest expressions of sympathy at this time in the passing of James. Such fond, pleasant memories of him extend from his days at the Summerville Junior HIgh School. Certainly, he was a teacher's dream in every respect: highly intelligent, very respectful, a great class contributor, very skilled and talented in both athletics and academics. and pleasing others seemed to be utmost at all times. He was a friend to all, in and out of the classroom. No matter the task, he seemed to always do it well and with a winning smile, second to none! To his parents, his siblings and extended family members, my love and prayers that your trust in God will see you through this troubled time.

So sorry to learn of James' passing. He was one of my students at the Summerville Junior High School in the early 70's. As I thought about the time I knew him, I remember that he was a very mannerly, polite, and warm young man, and I remember him most for his happiness and positive attitude. That he was a gifted athlete was obvious even then (7th and 8th grade), but I remember thinking, this young man has real leadership potential. He was a friend to all the members of his class, and just a pleasure to know and have as a student. Our prayers go out to his children and family, and all of those who knew and loved him.
wonderful smile.
