Mr. Harvey C. Duncan, age 80, of Lyerly, GA, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Duncan was born March 19, 1935, in Albertville, AL, son of the late Noah P. and Idell Romine Duncan. He was a member and deacon of the West Berryton Faith Temple, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Bigelow Sanford.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmo Duncan, Bufford Duncan, and Bobby Duncan.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Kathleen Duncan; sons and daughters-in-law, Harvey Dewayne and Sheila Duncan, Chris A. and Missy Duncan; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Diane and Gary Blackwell, Louetta and Hugh Millican; a brother and sister-in-law, Noah P. and Pat Duncan; a sister, Linda Bonds; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Duncan will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2015, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lyerly Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Chad Millican, Ben Duncan, Kyle Millican, Luke Blackwell, Gary Blackwell, Harvey Duncan, and Jeff Cochran.  Honorary pallbearers will be Will Duncan, Bren Duncan, Garrison Dodson, and the members of the West Berryton Faith Temple.

Mr. Duncan will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, July 4, 2015.
