Mr. Calvin Lee “Big CP” Parish, age 59, of Rome, GA, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Parish was born June 19, 1957, in Summerville, GA, son of the late L.E.  Parish and Phyllis Sneed Parish Eleam.  He was Baptist by faith and worked as a self-employed painter.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Jackson; brother-in-law, Randy Roberson; sister-in-law, Susan Parish; and a niece, Clarissa Jackson.

Mr. Parish is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Kelly Parish; a daughter, Crystal Parish; his mother, Phyllis Parish Eleam; brothers and sister-in-law, Lloyd Parish, Harold and Edna Parish; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Parish will be held at 4:00 P.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Pilgrim officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service.
