Ms. Teresa "Jan" Janine (Smith) Kilgo

Ms. Teresa “Jan” Rogers Kilgo, age 62 of Lyerly, GA passed away Monday May 12, 2025 at a Rome Hospital.

Ms. Kilgo was born March 28. 1963 to George Rogers and Kay Millican Smalley. She was retired from Kirklands and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren, and cats.

She is preceded in death by her step-father, Buddy Smalley; grandfather, Thomas Millican; aunt, Idelle Vaughn; and former husband, Danny Smith.

Survivors include her children, Chris Ridley and Danielle Smith; mother, Kay Smalley;  one sister, Jenifer Collins; grandchildren, Nathan (Heather) smith, Chloe Kandcer, and Presley White;  great-grandchild, Celeste Smith; uncle, Vernon Millican; nephew, Joshua (Stephanie) Holmes; along with several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Kilgo will take place at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 17 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. James Baird officiating. Interment will follow at Lyerly Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 – 12:00 at the funeral home.
