Ms. Shelia Dianne Ellis

Shelia Dianne Ellis, age 60, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on August 8, 2020, after a brief illness. 

 Born on October 17, 1959 in Lafayette, GA. Shelia was a retired LPN with Floyd Medical Center and Oakview Nursing Home, where she worked for many years.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Ruth Smith; brothers, Randall Smith and Michael Smith; and brother-in-law, Doug Ledbetter.

 Survivors include her husband, Dale Ellis; son, Thor Ellis; daughter and son-in-law, Raven Ellis Lee and Chris Lee; granddaughter, Alani Alice Lee; sister, Patsy Ledbetter; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Zandell Roan; brother, Donnie Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Rickey and Shirley Smith; and sister-in-law Jeanne Smith.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  

 With beautiful green eyes and hair flowing past her ankles, Shelia will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmama to her children and granddaughter and a caring and compassionate nurse to her patients.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a worthy charity.
