Ms. Mildred (Payton) Hall

Ms. Mildred Hall, age 91, of Menlo, GA, died Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Ms. Hall was born March 10, 1929, in Menlo, GA, daughter of the late Robert Andrew and Ethel Mustoe Payton.  She was a member of the Cloudland Presbyterian Church, and prior to her retirement, worked as a supervisor with Best Manufacturing.  Ms. Hall was also a member of the Best Silver Club.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Payton; and a special nephew, Ronny Payton.

Survivors include her son, Donnie (Cindy) Hall; daughter, Carol (Jimmy) Thomason; sister, Laura Dawson; grandchildren, Andrea (Danny) Hall Hayes, Ashley Hall, Sebastiano Cavallo, Katie (Keith) Smith, Anna (Jason) Sidel; great-grandchildren, Calli Cavallo, Peyton Sidel; sisters-in-law, Mary Payton, Jewel Hall; special caregiver, Opal Deering; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and funeral services will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Interment will be held in Alpine Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Cloudland Presbyterian Church or to the Alpine Cemetery Fund.
