Ms. Mary Karen (Bandy) Waycasie

Ms. Mary Karen Bandy Waycasie, age 47, of Menlo, GA, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at her residence.

Ms. Waycasie was born June 6, 1972, in Summerville, GA, daughter of Patricia Ann Timmons and the late Charles Sidney Bandy.  She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Ann Bandy Ledford; grandparents, Josephine Smith Bandy, Rachel and R. B. Timmons; nieces, Jessica Yates and Kimberly Terry.

For her entire life, Ms. Waycasie beat all odds to survive and was a miracle and a blessing, from the beginning of her life until the end.  She was a wonderful, loving, and kind daughter, sister, mother, aunt, nonna, ninnie, and friend.  She was the best listener and the best person to make you laugh.   She could always make a bad day better.

Ms. Waycasie is survived by her daughter, Danielle Brown (Timothy Runfola); mother, Patricia Bandy; brother, Sidney Bandy (Maxine Cooper); sisters, Keisha (Walter) Plebanski; Carol Arnett, Becky Bandy, Delores (John) Terry; 7 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and funeral services for Ms. Waycasie will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Rev. Gary Howell, Rev. Jason Boyd, and Rev. Chris White will officiate. Interment will also be held privately at Garrett Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Chris Russell, Caleb Green, Roy Hambrick, David Hall, Tim Runfola, Brian Waycasie, James Waycasie, and Matt Snider.
