Ms. Marcia Imogene (Brown) Parish

Ms. Marcia Imogene Brown Parish, age 64, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center.

Ms. Parish was born November 27, 1956, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Clarence and Hilda Reece Brown.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Northwest Regional Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Stacy Brown and Steve Brown.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Bryan Aldridge; son, Casey Lee Parish; daughter, Crystal Megan Parish; brothers, Zack Brown, Mike (Sue) Brown; a sister, Vickie (Michael) Hargrove; and 9 grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services for Ms. Brown will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Stacy Aldridge, Jason Aldridge, Jason Hargrove, Eric Hargrove, Michael Kirk, and Todd Howard.

There will be no visitation.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
