It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jillian Ann Durgin on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Tragically, Jillian was involved in a car accident near her home in Rome, GA, and did not survive. Our hearts are broken by this news as we know many of yours are as well.
Jillian was an artistic and creative soul who was very passionate about her beliefs and dreams. She was a friend and inspiration to many people around the world. Jillian leaves behind a legacy of art spanning more than 25 years including accomplishments in music, acting, modeling, styling, photography, and fashion. In addition to her many achievements, her work as a founder and visionary of RITUAL has been featured in the international fashion press including Vogue Portugal, Vogue Ukraine, Vogue Brasil, Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, British GQ Style, Rolling Stone Online and many more. After more than a decade of dedication to her fashion dreams, The RITUAL Creation Team now spans across the world, as does the community of creative and inspired people Jillian cultivated throughout her life’s work.
Jillian was preceded in death by her grandparents, Allen Clifford and Shirley E. Durgin; Harry, Jr. and Marylin Spinsby; and an aunt, Donna Durgin.
Jillian is survived by her parents, Paul and Laurie Durgin; two brothers; one sister; four nephews; 1 niece; and countless friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Jillian’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 2, 2023, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mac McCurry and Rev. Clyde Hampton officiating.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Mason Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
