Ms. Jean Rogers Blackmon, age 68, of Trion, GA passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Blackmon was born November 20, 1952 in Trion to the late J.C. & Katie Louise Williams Rogers. She was a homemaker and enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards, and watching The Golden Girls on TV.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Howard; and siblings, Raymond Rogers, Terry Rogers, Dale Parham, Amy Barnett, and Virginia Choate.
Survivors include her son, David Blackmon; daughter, Angela Dooley; brothers, Carl Rogers, Donald Rogers, and Jimmy Rogers; sisters, Tina (Randall) Hines and Sybil Hines; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Tony Emmanuel.
Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Ms. Blackmon will be held at 2:00, _Tuesday - May 18, 2021 at Lyerly Cemetery with Chaplain Steve Burns officiating. Pallbearers will be Austin Blackmon, Ronald Lankford, Randell Hines, and Joshua Hines.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30 at Mason Funeral Home.
