Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth (Brown) Bryan

Ms. Shirley Elizabeth Bryan, age 83, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Advent Health Redmond.

Ms. Bryan was born December 14, 1938, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Jim and Mabel Ann Patterson Brown.  She was a homemaker and had previously been employed as a groundskeeper with Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters, Yvonne Bryan and Dale Bryan; brothers, J. T. Brown, Melvin Brown, and Robert Brown; sisters, Bernice Callahan, Lola Mae Brown.

Survivors include her sons, Alvin (Linda) Bryan, William Bryan; daughters, Mary (Rex) Jones, Wanda (Russell, Sr.) Cosper, Cynthia Bryan, and Marie Bryan; a sister, Myrtle Black; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Shaver and Rev. Barry Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Austin Jones, Russell Cosper, Jr., Jesse Cosper, Vinson Renfroe, Logan Greene, Greg Greene, and Darrion Sims.

Ms. Bryan will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Friday.
