Mrs. Sara Emma Johnson, age 80, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born June 3, 1940, in Blakely, GA, daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Addie Weaver Amos. She was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mohawk Industries. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Pierce; daughter, Rhonda Rogers; sisters, Phyliss Townsend, Linda Kuhn; brother, Jullian Amos; 1 grandchild; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (Debra) Camp; daughters, Belinda (Bob) Smith, Tammie (Tony) Blackmon; Linda Dale (James) Floyd; sisters, Delores (Mike) Dulong, Brenda Craft; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, July 23, 2020, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Westmoreland and Rev. Jake Morrison officiating. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Wilson, Jeremy Rogers, Josh Rogers, Justin Rogers, Tim DeBerry, and Joseph Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Erick Wilson, Jason Rogers, Jesse Ingram, and Kenny King.
Visitation will be held privately.
