Mrs. Ruth Hampton Campbell

Mrs. Ruth Hampton Campbell, age 87, of Douglasville, GA (formerly of Cloudland), died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Campbell was born April 1, 1933, in Cloudland, GA, daughter of the late William Ira and Charlotte Maude Tallent Hampton.  She was of the Baptist faith, and prior to her retirement, was employed with the Cobb County School System. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Darlene (Emory) Taylor; step-son, Albert (Betty) Campbell; a grandson, Jerry (Linda) Lane; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Campbell will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.

Visitation will be held privately for the family.
