Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Jackson

Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Jackson, age 84, of LaFayette, GA, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Chulio Hills Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Jackson was born August 7, 1936, in Chattanooga, TN.  She was a member and former pianist at Welcome Hill Baptist Church.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Crider and her husband, Alvin Ruben Jackson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tinah and Lee Murdock; grandsons, Daniel Ramey and Michael “June Bug” Ramey, II; and 5 great-grandchildren

Graveside & interment services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jackson will be held at 2:00 PM Monday - May 17, 2021, at LaFayette Memory Gardens with Chaplain Steve Burns officiating.

There will be no visitation.

The Jackson family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions for the COVID pandemic set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings limitations including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
