Mrs. Robbie Jean Lowry

Mrs. Robbie Jean Lowry, age 88, of Armuchee, GA, died Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Lowry was born July 20, 1931, in Haralson County, GA, daughter of the late Dewey Charles and Legaria Dooley Cook.  She was Baptist by faith, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Klopman Mills.  She loved working in her flower garden, cooking, and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowry was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Lowry; sons, Terry Wayne Lowry, Danny “Boone” Lowry; brothers, Dumah Cook, Aubrey Cook, Metz Cook, and Johnny Cook; a sister, Wanda Cook Charleville; granddaughter, Stephanie Anne Lowry; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Patrono.

Mrs. Lowry is survived by her sons, Gary Lowry, Stephen (Kathleen) Lowry, Charles (Carol) Lowry; sisters, Joyce Cook McConnell, Glynelle Cook Rowland; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and graveside services for Mrs. Lowry will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Rev. Paul Martin will officiate.  Interment will also be held privately at Old Trion Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.
