Mrs. Nena Galloway

Mrs. Nena Mae Galloway, age 79, of Summerville, GA died Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Redmond Medical Center.

Mrs. Galloway was born July 15, 1941, in Marietta, GA, to the late Ernest Earl and Ruby Lee Chester Young.  She was an employee of Oakview Nursing Home before retiring and was a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Galloway, Sr; and her daughter-in-law, Carrie Galloway.

She is survived by her son, James H. Galloway, Jr.; a granddaughter, Amy Marie Galloway; and sister-in-law, Betty (Donald) Arnold.

Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Galloway will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, 2020, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Steve Burns officiating.

Visitation will be held privately.

The Galloway family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
