Mrs. Mamie Viola (Bradford) Hurtt

Mrs. Mamie Viola Bradford Hurtt, age 93, of Trion, GA, died Friday, November 27, 2020, at Dalton Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Dalton, GA.

Mrs. Hurtt was born February 16, 1927, in Subligna, GA, daughter of the late James Thomas and Meda Momie Owens Bradford.  She was a member of Trion Heights Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, had been employed with Riegel Textiles.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hurtt was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Hurtt; brother, James Homer Bradford; sisters, Lucy Elizabeth “Beth” Harrison, Lula May Phillips, Beula “Frances” Owens, Eula “Elsie” Smith, Margaret Ruby Allen, Cleo Jeanette Flemister, Eura Lee Deering, Vivian “Biddy” Irene Taylor.

Survivors include her sons, Michael D. (Robin) Hurtt, Timothy S. (Sylvia) Hurtt; grandchildren, Lindsay (Brad) Lee, Kelly (Dr. Hak) Seo, and Richard (Chasitiy) Hurtt; great-grandchildren, Thomas Seo, Henry Seo, Charlotte Seo, Everett Hurtt, Madelyn Hurtt, Graham Lee, and Warren Lee.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hurtt will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2020, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Johnson officiating. 

Visitation will be held privately.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the Staff of Dalton Place Assisted Living and Memory Care, the Staff of Amedysis Hospice, and the Members of Trion Heights Baptist Church.
