Mrs. Lizzie Elaine (Thrasher) Martin

Mrs. Lizzie Elaine Martin age 90 of Summerville, GA died Thursday- September 17, 2020 at Oakview Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Martin was born April 8, 1930 in Sand Mountain, AL, daughter of the late Earnest D. Thrasher and Pearl E. James Thrasher.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, had worked for 24 years at Jackson Chevrolet and 24 years at First National Bank.  She was also involved with the Red Hat Ladies.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Martin.

Survivors include her niece, Cyteria Angles; nephew, Adrian Martin; and several other nieces and nephews; special cousin, Ray Thrasher; and several other cousins.

There will be no formal services.  Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
