Mrs. Linda Lee (Carver) Owens

Mrs. Linda Lee Carver Owens, age 82, of Atlanta GA, formerly of Port Charlotte FL, formerly of Trion GA passed away Wednesday October 30th, 2024.

Born on January 8, 1942, in Lafayette, GA, Linda was the daughter of the late Harvey and Flora Carver. She graduated from Lafayette High School and was a Baptist by faith. Linda dedicated
many years to her career as a cost accountant at Mount Vernon Mills in Trion, GA, where her professionalism and attention to detail left a lasting impact.

After retiring, Linda and her beloved husband, Lenwood Owens, moved to Heritage Oak Park in Port Charlotte, Florida. There, Linda found joy in playing tennis, attending social events, serving as the Queen of the Red Hat Society, and exploring new destinations both within North America and Europe.

Linda was preceded in death by Lenwood, her husband of 57 years, and her brother, Mike Carver. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Owens; daughter-in-law, Barbara Thwaites;
sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and James Justice; brother, Vinson Carver; sister-in-law Joanne Carver; and nephews Barry, Chris, and Brent Justice.

A private celebration of Linda's life will be held by the family.
