Mrs. Linda Gail (Hudgins) Johnston

Mrs. Linda Gail Johnston, age 62, of Rome, GA, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, in Chattanooga, TN.

Mrs. Johnston was born April 3, 1957, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Joseph Westwater Hudgins and Willie Mae Johnson Hudgins.  She was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded death by brothers, Ralph Hudgins, Frank Hudgins; a granddaughter, Allyson Ballard.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by her husband, Jimmy Johnston; daughters, Karen (Shanon) Faircloth and Jennifer (Jeff) Ballard; son, Randy Johnston (Misty Cronan); a brother, Joseph Hudgins; sisters, Beckie (Mike) Posey, Deb Ramirez, Beverly Hudgins, and Bobbie Lumley; grandchildren, Tiffany Wheat, Hayley Ballard, Jacob Ballard, and Nadia Haas; a great-grandchild, Jeremie “A.J.” Raper; and special brother-in-law, Stephen (Pat) Johnston.

Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and funeral services for Mrs. Johnston will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Interment will also be held privately at Lyerly Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Shannon Faircloth, Jeff Ballard, Joey Hudgins, Jacob Ballard, Ernest Raper, and Stephen Johnston.
