Mrs. Linda Sue (Wood) Bolton

Mrs. Linda Sue Bolton, age 79, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Bolton was born October 14, 1943, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Arnold Wood and Ruby Sibert.  She was Baptist by faith, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bolton was preceded in death by her husband, James Bolton; step-father, Archie Sibert; brother, Jesse Wood; and granddaughter, Amber Wright.

Survivors include sons, Dennis (Patricia) Bolton, Carl Bolton; a daughter, Sheila Barnett; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Crabb, Vicki Walker; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 17, 2023, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Jim Crabb, Chris Zanzig, Austin Falk, Byron Pena, John Stanley, and Adam Burnette.

Mrs. Bolton will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.
