Mrs. Katheryn (Jackson) Witten

Mrs. Katheryn Jackson Witten age 81 of Summerville, GA passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Witten was born July 26, 1943 in Valparaiso, IN to the late Gerald T. and Leona Collar Jackson. She was a mother and homemaker, and she enjoyed watching her daily soap operas, crossword puzzles, and caring for her dogs Mimi & Daisy.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Witten, Sr.; son Michael Witten; and sisters, Dorothy Upchurch, Janet Valmos, and Vera Ballard.

Survivors include her children, James W. Witten, Jr, Mary Bridges, Jenny Albertson, and Dorothy Knoezer; sister, Margaret Pitre; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Interment services will be private.
