Mrs. June Ione (Ulsrud) Zahn

Mrs. June Ione Ulsrud Zahn, age 95, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, September 3, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Woodstock, GA.

Mrs. Zahn was born June 20, 1928, in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of the late Chris Amil and Gladys Violet Winge Ulsrud.  She was a homemaker and member of Bethel United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Zahn enjoyed playing cards with friends and cooking for people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Adolf Zahn; sons, Lee Johnson, Steven Zahn; daughters, Cheryl Johnson, Denise Zahn; sister, Joyce Resemius; brother, David Ulsrud; grandson, Richard Huen; and son-in-law, Brian Henning.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Zahn; daughters, Anita (James) Rice, Vanessa Henning, Christine (Manuel) Garcia, and Michelle Rogers; a sister, Lynne Irwin; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 8, 2023, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 250 Bethel Church Rd, Summerville, GA,  with Rev. Jody Brock officiating.
