Mrs. Josetta Carol “Jo” Markwell, age 62, of Lyerly, GA, died Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Markwell was born September 7, 1957, in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Campbell Kestermann. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a 911 dispatcher and civil deputy with Garfield County, CO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Kestermann.

Mrs. Markwell is survived by her husband, John Calvin Markwell; a son, Eli Markwell; daughters, Jamie (Anthony) O’Neal, Jill Ard, and Ashley (Jeffrey) Blackmon; grandchildren, Jakob Ard, Avery O’Neal, Mikey Bonds, Ayden Ard, and Sara Blackmon.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Markwell will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
