Mrs. Jessie Mae (Smith) Willingham

Mrs. Jessie Mae Smith Willingham, age 83, of Summerville, GA, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Willingham was born August 15, 1935, in Summerville, GA, the daughter of the late Jessie and Tenny Louise Teems Smith.  She was a homemaker and was Church of God by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Frances Maton; and brothers, Dan Smith, Arnold Smith, Charles Smith, Wayne Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, George Willingham; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Vicki Willingham, Jerry and Debra Willingham; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Larry Edgeworth; brother, Frank Reed; sister, Charlotte Smith; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Willingham will be at 2:00 Friday at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Norton officiating.  Burial will follow at AMI Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Boyd, Ryley Brown, Nathan Godfrey, Austin Holder, Bryson Standridge, and Matt Reynolds.

Mrs. Willingham will lie in-state and the family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 until the service hour.
