Gloria Dean Eye Knox, age 92, a native of Durbin West Virginia and resident of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 6th, 2025.

Mrs. Knox was a 1950 graduate of Green Bank High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Blanche Eye and her husband, L. Jeff Knox.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeffney (Alan) Fletcher of Canton, GA, two sons George (Mary) Knox of McKinney, TX and Garth (Denise) Knox of Fairhope, AL; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany (Devin), Katy (Josh), Christopher, Maci (Cody) and Allie (Logan); 6 great grandchildren, Knox, Madeleine, Sloan, Ava, Brody and Madison Dean; special friends Doris Reynolds and Earlene Starr.

Mrs. Knox will be brought back to West Virginia to be laid to rest with her husband and family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale, WV. 

In the event of bad weather, services will be moved to the Wallace and Wallace Chapel in Arbovale, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to your local Alzheimer's Associations or a charity of your choice.
