Mrs. Glenis Irene Miller

Mrs. Glenis Irene Miller, age 87, of Rome, GA, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at her residence.

Mrs. Miller was born October 28, 1930, in Curryville, GA, daughter of the late Harlin Lee Evans and Melia Octivia Tudor Evans.  She was a homemaker and loving mother.  Mrs. Miller was previously a member of the Palmdale Chapter 327 Order of the Eastern Star.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Raymond “Ron” Miller; a sister, Ruth Henley; and a brother, Bobby Evans.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Sean “J.W.” Sullivan; brother, Homer Evans; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances VanHorn, Faye Nelle and Thomas Byrd, Sue and Gerald Bearden, Sandra JoAnn Anderson; sister-in-law, Frances Evans; and her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Ethan and Elizabeth.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Miller was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale, CA.
