Mrs. Glenda Sue Spears Woodham

Mrs. Glenda Sue Spears Woodham age 84 of Summerville, GA passed away Wednesday- December 22, 2021 at Advent Health- Redmond.

Mrs. Woodham was born February 26, 1937 in LaFayette, GA to the late Charles and Mae Sprayberry Stiles. She sang with the Gospel Light Trio, and she loved the beach, fishing, and her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Edd “Woody” Woodham; grandson, Blake Jolly; and several siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianne (Gary) Norton and Lisa (Rickey) Phillips; grandchildren, Jason (Angie) Jolly, Matt (McCall) Jolly, Kristin (Ryan) Wilson; great-grandchildren, AnnaKate and Rylee Wilson, Blake and Carter Jolly, and Drake Jolly;brother, Bill (Annette) Stiles; Sister, Gail Tucker;  and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Woodham will take place at 1:00 PM Monday- December 27 at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Spears officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery with Jason Jolly, Matt Jolly, Ryan Wilson, Clayton Johnson, Jimmy Starling, and Taylor Elrod serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until the service hour at Mason Funeral Home.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
