Mrs. Eloise Bentley, age 91, of Menlo, GA, died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Bentley was born May 27, 1929, in Adamsburg, AL, daughter of the late William Ernest and Rosetta Craig Locklear. She had attended Menlo First Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing. Mrs. Bentley was a strong, determined woman. To have been 91 years old, she had only been in the hospital three times in her life; first having children, and only two times recently.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bentley was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bentley; and a brother, Ben Locklear.
Survivors include her sons, Barry (Stephanie) Bentley, Greg (Patricia) Bentley; a daughter, Angie Bentley; brother, Billy Locklear; sister, Dean Plummer; grandchildren, Jeffrey Bentley, Shelby Steele, Cody Bentley, Madison Bentley, Grayson Bentley, and McKenna Bentley; great-grandchildren, Eric Bentley, Ethan Bentley, and Gabbi Pope.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 30, 2020, at Moseley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Bentley, Greg Bentley, Shawn Hightower, J. D. Helms, and Cody Bentley.
Visitation will be held privately.
The Bentley family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
