Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Jean (Battles) Wilson

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Battles Wilson, age 87, of Trion, GA, died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Wilson was born August 23, 1937, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Marshall Frank and Eula Mae Cordell Battles.  She was a member of the Trion First Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed as a receptionist at Mount Vernon Mills.  Mrs. Wilson was also a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class at Trion First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eural Wilson; a son, Dennis Wilson; grandson, Eddie Wilson Bramlett, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law, Jeannie Wilson.

Survivors include her sons, David (Melody) Wilson, Jerry Wilson; daughters, Cheryl (Eddie) Bramlett, Teresa (Jackie) McClung; brother, Lucky (Locia) Battles; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2025, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Casey Bramlett, Rev. Michael Cook, and Mr. Andrew Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Shane Cook, Brandon Wilson, Brian Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Caleb Wilson, and Ben Wilson.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Lydia Sunday School Class at Trion First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wilson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Sunday.
