Mrs. Cijivea Kristara “Ciji” Bankston Mitchell, age 33, of Summerville, GA, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mrs. Mitchell was born April 21, 1988, in Rome, GA, daughter of Belinda Elaine Bankston and Rico Auntuan Perry. She was a member of the West Fifth Street Church of Christ and was employed with Verizon.
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Betty Bankston and Deborah Perry; and mother-in-law, Mary Wilson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Xavier Mitchell; daughters, Z’niya Mitchell, Cimiyah Mitchell; step-son, Jabari Wright; mother, Belinda Elaine Bankston (Melvin Sams); father, Rico Auntuan Perry; brothers, Adrian Foster, Aaron Foster; sisters, Kandis Perry, Kelsey Mosley; grandfathers, Jessie Bankston and Ralph Slack; and great-grandmother, Rose Page. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Mrs. Mitchell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
There will be no formal funeral service.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
