Mrs. Bobbie Jo Shamblin

Mrs. Bobbie Jo Shamblin, age 86, of Summerville, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Shamblin was born September 18, 1931, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Virgil Cothran and Emma Lee Moore Eason.  She was a homemaker and a member of South Summerville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shamblin is survived by her husband, John Shamblin; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Robin Shamblin; and grandchildren, Sierra Shamblin and Hamilton Shamblin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shamblin will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2018, at South Summerville Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Bryant and Bro. Stanley Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Shamblin will be in state at South Summerville Baptist Church and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Friday.
