Bernice Dubois, 98, native of Port Sulphur, LA, passed into Jesus’ holy embrace Monday, November 17, 2025, at 7:00am, at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Summerville, GA. 
 

Mrs. Dubois was a ‘social butterfly’, and enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo, she loved music, and had a lifelong love of dancing.  She loved her children very much, her grandchildren, their children and all of her many friends.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband John Whitney Dubois, her father, Arthur A. Rogers, her mother, Anna Helene Granger Rogers, her brothers, Abel J. Rogers, Minus “Sonny” Rogers, and Arthur Rogers, Jr., her sisters, Miriam May Rogers, Waldine Rogers, and Anna Mae Rogers Trosclair, her children, Bobby J. Dubois, Elaine Dubois Martinez, Kenneth J. Dubois, and Loretta Gail Dubois Thibodeaux.
 

“Maw maw” Dubois is survived by two daughters, Judy D. Vallee of Summerville and Joyce (Mike) D. Zuvich of Houma, LA., one sister, Enola Mars of New Roads, LA, 17 beloved grandchildren and many, many great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
                      
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (915 Main Street - Franklin, LA 70538).
