Mrs. Barbara J. Middleton

Mrs. Barbara Jill Middleton, age 54, of Trion, GA, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Advent Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.

Mrs. Middleton was born May 29, 1967, in Tampa, FL, daughter of the late Janice Gertrude Murphy Wilson.  She was Baptist by faith and was a self-employed nanny.  She earned her G.E.D. and went on to college to study early childhood education and computer science.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Trina Michelle Turner.

Survivors include her husband, James Richard Middleton, Jr.; sons, James V. III (Shanna) Ammons, Jonathan Middleton; daughter, Melissa D. (James Ryan) Dupree; brothers, John Larry Turner, Randy Cleve Turner, and Patrick Lacomb; sister, Angelyna Hamm; and 5 grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Middleton will be held at a later date with inurnment in Rock Spring Community Cemetery.
