Mrs. Annie “Ruth” Kinsey, age 93, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Kinsey was born January 30, 1931, in Lyerly, GA, daughter of the late Hobert and Laura Wheeling Stallings.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed in the lab at Mount Vernon Mills.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Allard Stinson; and her second husband, Ronald Kinsey; a son, Ricky (Cynthia) Stinson; brothers, Hobert Junior Stallngs, Jet Stallings, and Fred Stallings; a grandson, Justin Stinson; and son-in-law, Gary Wayne Talley.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelby Jean Talley; brother, Billy (Angie) Stallings; a sister, Bessie May; sister-in-law, Joyce Stallings; grandchildren, Kevin Battles, Brian Stinson, and Chris Stinson; and great-grandsons, Jacob Battles, Logan Stinson, and Nolan Stinson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Peppers and Mr. Lance Stallings officiating.  Interment will follow in Lyerly Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinsey will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
