Mr. Wayne Rosson

Mr. Wayne Rosson, age 67, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Rosson was born August 22, 1953, in Summerville, GA, son of the late John Robert and Annie Belle Ponder Rosson.  He had previously been employed with Garnett’s Furniture.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rosson was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Rosson and Billy Rosson; sisters, Francis Smith and Ester Scruggs.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Peggy Rosson.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Rosson will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Summerville Cemetery with Rev. Paul Winston officiating.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Rosson, Todd Rosson, Rett Rosson, John Harold Scruggs, Johnny Blackmon, and Skyler McCoy.  Brooks Rosson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at Mason Funeral Home.

The Rosson family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
