Mr. Richard Thomas Rinehart

Mr. Richard Thomas Rinehart, age 73, of Summerville, GA, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Rinehart was born April 16, 1946, in Trion, GA, son of the late Eugene and Evis Lowery Rinehart.  He was a member of Old Way Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Hays Correctional Institute  for 16 years. 

Mr. Rinehart is survived by his wife of 33 years, Doris Wooten Rinehart; son, Stacy (Angel) Rinehart; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Jeanette Rinehart; and a grandson, Matt Rinehart.

Funeral services for Mr. Rinehart will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 9, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Troy Martin, Lance Martin, Zack Martin, Matt Rinehart, Gary Lowery, and Joe Middleton.

Mr. Rinehart will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday.
