Mr. Raymond E. Reynolds

Mr. Raymond E. Reynolds, age 84, of Lyerly, GA, passed away October 7, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Reynolds was born August 3, 1936, in Lyerly, GA, son of the late Lonnie Lee Reynolds and Alice Mae Ragland Reynolds.  He was a member of Four Mile Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed with the City of Summerville.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Steele Reynolds; brothers, Claude Lee “Bud” Reynolds, Joe David Reynolds; sisters, Ruby Mae Reynolds Lecroy, Maxine Reynolds Lee; and sister-in-law, Louise Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his daughters, Rita Gail Reynolds (Sid) Snead, Robin Melissa Reynolds (James) Lemmings; brothers, Leric (Juanita) Reynolds, Robert Lewis “Bob” (Hilda) Reynolds, Cecil Morris (June) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Joyce Reynolds; brother-in-law, Billy Joe Lee; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and special caregivers, Jennie Smith, Kay Sprayberry, Jan Morris, and John Whitten.

Graveside & interment services to celebrate the life of Mr. Reynolds will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2020, at Lyerly Cemetery with Rev. Joel Smith and Larry Reynolds officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Andrew Daniel, Justin Lee, David Reynolds, Larry Reynolds, Jeff Reynolds, and Kevin Daniel.  Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Daniel and Ken Reynolds.

Visitation will be private.

The Reynolds family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
