Mr. Michael D. Thompson

Mr. Michael D. Thompson, age 56 of Gaylesville, AL passed away Wednesday- August 21, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Thompson was born March 13, 1963 in Rome, GA to James K. Thompson and the late Esther Mitchell Thompson. He was of the Baptist faith and employed by Gerber Collision & Glass.

Along with his mother, Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by a brother; Jeff Todd.

Survivors include his wife; Ivy Osic Thompson, father; James K. Thompson, son; Donovan M. (Tabitha) Thompson, daughter; Danielle L. Thompson, brothers; John Todd, Jr. & Britt Todd, and sisters; Cindy (Terry) Rowlls, Paula Penson, Beth (Dale) Storey, Tara Jones, and Secret Ingle.

Funeral services for Mr. Thompson will be at 2:00 PM Saturday- August 24, 2019 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Mitchell officiating.

Mr. Thompson will lie in state and the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
