Mr. Len "Lightfoot" Ratliff, Sr.

Mr. Michael Len “Lightfoot” Ratliff, Sr., age 66, of Mentone, AL, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at Advent Health Redmond.

Mr. Ratliff was born August 21, 1955, in Summerville, GA, son of the late William D. Ratliff, Sr. and Betty Kiker Ratliff.  He was a member of Silver Hill Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed as a truck driver with Dunagan Logging.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, William Danny Ratliff, Jr.; granddaughter, Khloeigh Ratliff; and brother-in-law, Doyle Evans.

Survivors include his wife, Regena Duke Ratliff; son, Michael Len Ratliff, Jr.; daughter, Molly (Mack) Burke; sisters, Elaine Evans, Gretna (Junior) Bandy, Kathy (Gary) Snead; grandchildren, Daniel Burke, Ethan Burke, Hartleigh Ratliff, and Tripp Ratliff; aunt, Lorene Cummings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Ratliff will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, June 9, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Brown, Rev. Russell Headrick, and Rev. Mike Lee officiating.  Interment will follow in Silver Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Shane Bandy, Matt Battle, Timothy Evans, Matt Veitch, Russell Headrick, and Adam Richards.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Brown, Joe Kinnamont, Billy Walters, Gary Snead, Junior Bandy, Thomas Russell, Harry Worthington, and Jerry Hamby.

Mr. Ratliff will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.
