Mr. Joe “David” Henderson age 67, of Gaylesville, AL passed away unexpectedly Sunday- August 23, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Henderson was born March 9, 1953 in Lyerly, GA to the late Ben and Hazel Henderson. He was retired from South Eastern Mills.

Along with his parents, Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Henderson; and daughter, Brandi Henderson.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmy (Laura) Scott and Kerry (Danielle) Henderson; daughter, Shannon (Mike) Mull; brothers, Frankie (Belinda) Henderson and Bobby (Verna) Henderson; sister, Kathy (Leonard) Green; grandchildren, Nicole Scott, Starr (Matt) Dunn, Colby (Abby) Scott, Stephen Blalock, Logan Blalock, Mattie Blalock, Carly Scott, Lucas Chumbler, Raymee Burt, Landon Chumbler, and Levi Chumbler; and special friend Elaine Dawson.

A memorial gathering will be held at the residence from 1:00-3:00 CST Thursday- August 27, 2020. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Green, Brandon Byram, Jeff Dodd, Willie Epps, Kenneth Mull, and Chris White.

In lieu of traditional flowers, the family respectfully requests that only houseplants be sent to the residence.

The Henderson family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
