Mr. Jodie Ray Mitchell age 45 of Gaylesville, AL, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Cherokee Medical Center.

Mr. Mitchell was born August 6, 1975, in Rome, GA, son of Judy Gail Henry Mitchell and the late Freddie Ray Mitchell. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was employed with Roper. He was also a great cook and enjoyed smoking barbeque butts.

Survivors include his children, Matthew Mitchell, Alex Mitchell; mother, Judy Mitchell; fiancé, Alicia Jones; step-children, Kaylee Jones, Adam Jones, Jackson Jones, and Tyler Hampton; brother, Jeff (Angel) Mitchell; sister, Robin (Philip) Watts; grandson, Greyson Jones; granddaughters, Keela Hampton and Kairi Hampton; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
