Mr. Jimmy "Jay" Lee Jackson, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Lee “Jay” Jackson, Jr., age 45, of Trion, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Erlanger Medical Center.

Mr. Jackson was born November 27, 1973, in Birmingham, AL, son of Jimmy and Elaine Yates Jackson.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Badcock Furniture.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mart and Billie Yates, and Lathern and Christine Jackson. 

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Dana Jackson; children, Jakob Jackson, Jaylee Jackson, Brittany (Justin) Jenkins, Levi Shigekawa, and Lexi Shigekawa; parents, Jimmy and Elaine Jackson; grandmother, Lillie May Yates; mother and father-in-law, Melanie and Tony Sparks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jakob Jackson, Levi Shigewaka, Shane Sparks, Jacob Sparks, Eddie Doty, and Jamey Collette.

Mr. Jackson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
