Mr. Jimmy Fay Pierce

Mr. Jimmy Fay Pierce, age 76, of Summerville, GA, died Thursday, May 21, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Pierce was born October 29, 1943, in Summerville, GA, son of the late James Henry and Margaret Louella Tapp Pierce.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Mohawk Industries. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Timmons Pierce; Brothers, Avery Talley Pierce, James E. Pierce, Elmer Pierce, and William Pierce; a sister, Elsie Nixon; and a granddaughter, Michelle Franklin.

Survivors include Children, Isaiah Pierce, Amanda Pierce, Brenda (James) Franklin, Lynn (Jimmy) Collins, Mary (Tim) York, Amy Robinson, Miguel Massey Pierce; brother, Carl (Peggy) Pierce; sister, Pat (Marlin) Littlejohn; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special former son-in-law, Donnie Hudson.

Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and graveside services for Mr. Pierce will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Ken Johnson will officiate.  Interment will also be held privately at Summerville Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Josh Collins, Steve Craig, Matt Hight, John Hudson, James Pierce, and Adam Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Pruitt Hospice.
