Mr. James "Jimmy" Richard McCullough

Mr. James “Jimmy” Richard McCullough age 75 of Menlo, GA passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. McCullough was born August 30, 1948 in Summerville, GA to the late Doyle and Lorene Watson McCullough. He was retired from Heil Industries. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam, and he was a retired Chief of the Rinehart Fire Department.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by siblings, Nelly Jones, Patsy Graves, and Johnny McCullough.

Survivors include his long time companion, Karen Howard; children, Casandra (Jerry) Cole, Christy (Zac) Valentine, Amelia (Shannon) Chesser, and Scott (Angie) Howard; sister, June Ferry; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. McCullough will be at 2:00 PM EST Monday, September 11 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Koonce and Rev. Wayne Killian officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Bowling, Lucas Cole, Jonathon Ray, Jackie Mobbs, Les McCullough, and Chuck Powell.

The family will receive friends Sunday September 10 from 2:00 – 4:00 at the funeral home.
