Mr. James Herbert Pendergrass, age 61, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Mr. Pendergrass was born April 15, 1958, in Chattanooga, TN, son of the late Herbert and Irene Griffin Pendergrass. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Mount Vernon Mills. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pendergrass was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Thomas; son, Jay Pendergrass; brothers, Randy Pendergrass, Kathy Pendergrass.

Mr. Pendergrass is survived by his daughters, Cindy Pendergrass, Laura Elsayed; daughter-in-law, BeBe Pendergrass; brother, David Pendergrass; grandchildren, Izzie & Anna Pendergrass, Haley Fraser, Ryan Hedgecoth, Hannah Hedgecoth, Madison Pharr Lively, Roman Lively; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Logan, Zayleigh, and Adrian.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Pendergrass will be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
