Mr. Harry Wedgeworth, age 66, of Menlo, GA, passed from this life on November 17, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Wedgeworth was born January 4, 1955, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Robert and Mae Ella Whitsett Wedgeworth. He attended school at A.C. Carter High School. He worked with the City of Summerville for over 25 years and had also worked for Stanley Saleman Farming for 15 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ella Wedgeworth and Ollie Mae Hudgins; brothers, Matthew Wedgeworth, Harvey Wedgeworth, Felton Wedgeworth, Fred Wedgeworth, Robert Wedgeworth, Andrew Wedgeworth, L.C. Wedgeworth, and Steve Wedgeworth; step-children, Kathy McDonald, Connie McDonald, and Larry McDonald.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Susan Wedgeworth; brother, Henry (Chris) Wedgeworth; sister-in-law, Ruby Wedgeworth; grandson, Dennis (Amanda) McDonald; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wedgeworth and Frances Wedgeworth; grandchild, Emma Kate McDonald; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at Mason Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
