Mr. Gary Carroll Obituary

Mr. Gary Wayne Carroll, age 60 of Summerville, GA died Monday, September 16, 2019, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Carroll was born January 9, 1959, in Summerville, GA, son of Mary Frances Owens Carroll and the late Jerry Frederick Bennett Carroll.  He attended Berryton Church of God, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.  In addition to his father, Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Carroll.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Carroll; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicki and Alvin Eugene Brown, Rosemary and Donnie Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Carroll will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 19, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Lee and Rev. Tony Weaver officiating.  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Nicholas Stewart, Chris Stewart, J. R. Brown, Donnie Stewart, Jerry Brown, Tim Rutledge, and Greg Koonce.

Mr. Carroll will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.
